The institutes of higher education are aware of this and will examine each case separately, striving for flexibility and making decisions in the student's best interests. The students are responsible for approaching their institutes in such cases. The institutes have been preparing for ways to respond to the exceptional circumstances also in the autumn semester, for instance by providing distance teaching.
